This will be my first post after a long time i've stopped blogging. I created this blog for a few reasons:
- To share my knowledge on geology.
- Story telling on my experience as a geologist.
- Document the Fieldtrips i've been around the world.
- To practice my writing skills.
- To put my thoughts in writing, for future me to laugh at myself.
Geology comes from the world geo (earth) and logy (study)-Study of the earth.
I believe geology is a science that gives more meaning to life. In the sense that it gives the understanding of nature and earth; How earth's landscape looks like, what its made of and how its formed. It gives me chance to appreciate the world i'm living in. Besides, travel become more interesting when we know more about the place we go. Malay proverb says 'Tak kenal maka tak cinta' which means-There's no love without knowing.
Hope you will enjoy geology as much as i do.
